Arkansas to Georgia Auto Transport
Shipping a Car From Arkansas to Georgia
Little Rock to Atlanta is about 525 miles, through Memphis and Birmingham on I-40, I-22, and I-20. It's a long day of driving, and the last hour into Atlanta traffic is usually the slowest part.
Atlanta is one of the biggest job markets in the South, and a lot of our Arkansas-to-Georgia moves are for new jobs and corporate transfers. We also ship for soldiers heading to Fort Stewart, airmen going from Little Rock AFB to Robins and Moody, students at Georgia Tech, UGA, and Emory, and families moving closer to relatives.
Door-to-door, a final-price quote, and $0 due at booking.

The Route
How Cars Get From Arkansas to Georgia
Most carriers take I-40 east into Memphis, I-22 through Tupelo to Birmingham, and then I-20 into Atlanta. Augusta is straight out I-20 past Atlanta. Columbus is reached from Birmingham on US-280 or I-85.
Macon and Savannah are south of Atlanta on I-75 and I-16. Atlanta traffic is the hardest part of the trip, so the driver will call ahead with a realistic arrival time.

- Memphis → Birmingham~240 mi
- Birmingham → Atlanta~150 mi
Approximate distances. The exact route depends on the carrier's other stops.

When to Ship Arkansas to Georgia
Southern weather and moving season shape this route.
Spring Storms
March through May brings severe storms to both states. Drivers wait them out, which can add a few hours.
Summer Moving Season
Summer is the busiest time for job moves and military orders. Book a week or two ahead.

Pricing
How Much Does It Cost to Ship a Car From Arkansas to Georgia?
This is a short route, so pricing works a little differently.
Distance
Little Rock to Atlanta is about 525 miles. Northwest Arkansas to Savannah is closer to 950.
Short-Haul Pricing
Shorter trips cost more per mile than cross-country ones, since loading and unloading take the same time either way.
Delivery Area
Metro Atlanta is easy to reach. Coastal and rural Georgia take more planning.
Open or Enclosed
Open is the standard. Enclosed protects classics and high-value cars.
Vehicle Size
Pickups and full-size SUVs take more trailer space than sedans, so they cost more to ship.
Date Flexibility
A flexible window lets us catch a truck already heading east.
