Florida to Nevada Auto Transport
Shipping a Car From Florida to Nevada
Orlando to Las Vegas is about 2,335 miles, west across the Gulf Coast to Dallas and out I-40 through Amarillo and Albuquerque. From Pensacola it's closer to 1,880, and Reno is around 2,810 from Orlando. It's five long days of driving.
Florida and Nevada share no state income tax, a big hospitality industry, and plenty of sunshine, so people move between them all the time. We ship for casino, hotel, and entertainment professionals moving between Orlando, Miami, and Las Vegas, retirees heading to Henderson and Summerlin, and airmen moving from Eglin to Nellis and Creech.
Door-to-door, a final-price quote, and $0 due at booking.

How Cars Get From Florida to Nevada
Most carriers head west on I-10 across the Panhandle and the Gulf Coast, cut up to Dallas on I-20, and take I-40 through Amarillo, Albuquerque, and Flagstaff. From Kingman, US-93 crosses the Hoover Dam bypass into Las Vegas.
Some trucks stay on I-10 to Phoenix and come up US-93 from there. Reno and Carson City are a much longer trip up through central Nevada or around through California.

Timing
When to Ship Florida to Nevada
Desert heat and Gulf weather set the timing here.
Summer Heat
Las Vegas, Arizona, and West Texas regularly top 110°F. Make sure the battery and tires are in good shape.
Hurricane Season
June through November can delay pickups along the Florida and Gulf coasts. Keep a little slack in your dates.
Winter on I-40
Snow near Flagstaff and Albuquerque can slow trucks for a day from December through March.
Spring & Fall
Usually the easiest time to ship.
Pricing
How Much Does It Cost to Ship a Car From Florida to Nevada?
Here's what moves the price on this cross-country route.
Distance
Las Vegas is about 1,880 miles from the Panhandle. Reno from South Florida is closer to 3,000.
Delivery Area
Las Vegas, Henderson, and Reno are easy. Tahoe and rural Nevada take more planning.
Season
Spring out of Florida is busiest. Summer and fall are often the best value.
Open or Enclosed
Open is the standard. Enclosed keeps sun and dust off a nicer car.
Vehicle Size
Pickups and full-size SUVs take more trailer space than sedans, so they cost more to ship.
Date Flexibility
A flexible window lets us catch a truck already heading west.
Your Quote Is Your Final Price
A cheap quote no driver will take just leaves your car sitting. Ours is priced to move, it's your final price, and $0 is due at booking.

Before You Ship & After You Arrive
A few Nevada-specific things worth knowing.
Registering in Nevada
New residents have 30 days to register with the Nevada DMV. Out-of-state vehicles need a VIN inspection, and the Las Vegas and Reno areas require emissions testing for many vehicles. Check dmv.nv.gov for current requirements.
HOA and Gated Communities
Many Las Vegas and Henderson neighborhoods have gate rules for trucks. Share them when you book, or pick a nearby lot.
Moving With the Military
We ship for airmen and families moving from Eglin, Hurlburt, Tyndall, and MacDill to Nellis and Creech.
Florida Pickups
Gated communities, HOA truck rules, condo garages, and tight streets in places like Miami Beach and Key West can keep a carrier off your street. If so, the driver will set up a nearby meeting spot, usually a lot just off I-95, I-75, I-4, or the Turnpike.
