Shipping a Car From California to Oklahoma
Los Angeles to Oklahoma City is about 1,335 miles, and nearly all of it is on I-40. Trucks leave the Mojave at Barstow and stay on that one interstate through Flagstaff, Albuquerque, and Amarillo. It's about three days by car.
Oklahoma is a big military state, and we ship a lot of cars on this route for soldiers going from Fort Irwin to Fort Sill, airmen moving from Travis to Altus for tanker training, and crews heading to Tinker and Vance. We also ship for energy and aerospace jobs in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, students at OU and Oklahoma State, and families leaving California for a much lower cost of living.
Door-to-door, a final-price quote, and $0 due at booking.

Timing
When to Ship California to Oklahoma
Plains weather and military moves set the timing here.

Summer PCS Season
May through August is the peak for Fort Sill, Tinker, Altus, and Vance moves. Book as soon as you have orders.

Pricing
How Much Does It Cost to Ship a Car From California to Oklahoma?
Here's what affects the price on this route.
Distance
Southwest Oklahoma is about 1,200 to 1,300 miles from LA. Tulsa is closer to 1,450.
A Busy Corridor
I-40 is one of the busiest truck routes in the country, which helps keep this route competitive.
Season
Summer PCS moves raise demand. Fall and winter are often cheaper.
Open or Enclosed
Open is the standard. Enclosed keeps hail and road debris off a nicer car.
Vehicle Size
Pickups and full-size SUVs take more trailer space than sedans, so they cost more to ship.
Date Flexibility
A flexible window lets us catch a truck already heading east on I-40.
