Shipping a Car From Arizona to Oklahoma
Phoenix to Oklahoma City is about 1,015 miles, and nearly all of it is on I-40. It's a straight shot through Flagstaff, Albuquerque, and Amarillo. Most people drive it in two long days.
Oklahoma is a big military state, and a lot of our moves on this route are PCS moves. We ship for soldiers going from Fort Huachuca to Fort Sill, airmen heading to Tinker, Altus, and Vance, and their families. We also move cars for energy and aerospace jobs in OKC and Tulsa, students at OU and Oklahoma State, and people moving back home.
Door-to-door, a final-price quote, and $0 due at booking.

This is one of the simplest cross-country routes we run. Trucks take I-17 to Flagstaff and I-40 all the way to Oklahoma City. Southern Arizona loads may come up I-25 from Las Cruces to join I-40 at Albuquerque.
Tulsa is 105 miles northeast of OKC on the Turner Turnpike (I-44). Norman is just south on I-35. Lawton, Fort Sill, and Altus are in southwest Oklahoma, reached from Amarillo on US-287 or from OKC on the H.E. Bailey Turnpike.

Timing
When to Ship Arizona to Oklahoma
Plains weather and military moves set the timing here.
Tornado Season
April through June brings severe storms to Oklahoma. Drivers wait out warnings, which can add a few hours.
Summer PCS Season
May through August is the peak for Fort Sill, Tinker, and Altus moves. Book as soon as you have orders.
Winter
Snow on I-40 near Flagstaff and ice storms in Oklahoma can stop trucks for a day. Leave room in your schedule.
Fall
Mild weather, easy booking, and OU and OSU football weekends. Plan Norman and Stillwater deliveries around game days.
Pricing
How Much Does It Cost to Ship a Car From Arizona to Oklahoma?
Here's what affects the price on this route.
Distance
Southwest Oklahoma is under 1,000 miles from Phoenix. Tulsa is about 1,120.
A Busy Corridor
I-40 is one of the busiest truck routes in the country, which helps keep this route competitive.
Season
Summer PCS moves and spring snowbird traffic raise demand. Fall and winter are often cheaper.
Open or Enclosed
Open is the standard. Enclosed keeps hail and road debris off a nicer car.
Vehicle Size
Pickups and full-size SUVs take more trailer space than sedans, so they cost more to ship.
Date Flexibility
A flexible window lets us catch a truck already heading east on I-40.
Your Quote Is Your Final Price
What we quote is what you pay. No fuel surcharges added later, and $0 is due at booking.
